Can someone out there in the blogosphere please explain how this makes sense. God impregnates a virgin who gives birth to a son that can turn water into wine, walk on water & heal the chronically sick by magic. He is then punished & sentenced to death for these “miracles” by his own people & the Romans. He gets nailed on a cross, miraculously rises from the dead 3 days later to tell his disciples that he will battle the devil in about 2000 years. Till then he is going to his mansion in heaven to pass judgment on the heathens & gays. All this effort by a ‘god’ because a talking snake told a women to eat a apple. Is it me but does this sound like a fairy tale. Even a mentally challenged 2nd grader would interpret this as a fairy tale & not absolute fact/ truth. Why do intelligent people believe in this fairy tale?
